Brooklyn Personal Injury Lawyer

The firm of Oliveri & Schwartz, P.C. was founded in 1983 by Paul F. Oliveri and Leonard Schwartz, a Brooklyn native who got his law degree from Brooklyn Law School; Mr. Schwartz is presently Of-Counsel to the firm. Paul F. Oliveri got his law degree from New York City's St. John's University School of Law. Mr. Schwartz's first legal position was as a personal injury lawyer, working as a medical malpractice associate for a plaintiff's law firm with an office across the street from Brooklyn's Supreme Court.

Mr. Schwartz and Mr. Oliveri met as associates at one of New York's premier plaintiffs' law firms. That firm was founded by the first trial lawyer to achieve a Million Dollar Verdict in New York State, who later become a judge on the New York Court of Appeals, which was and is the highest court in the state. Mr. Oliveri was a general liability associate at that firm, with so many cases venued in the Brooklyn courts that some associates began referring to him as the firm's Brooklyn injury lawyer.

After OLIVERI and SCHWARTZ left that large firm to open their own firm, their "old" firm wished them the best and referred several Brooklyn clients to Oliveri & Schwartz, P.C. It was a supreme compliment to receive referrals from that prestigious firm.

At about the same time that Oliveri & Schwartz, P.C. opened its doors in 1983, Mr. Oliveri and his family moved to Brooklyn's Carroll Gardens neighborhood, sometimes referred to as one of the Brownstone neighborhoods of downtown Brooklyn because of the many beautiful brownstone buildings. Mr. "Brooklyn Personal Injury Lawyer" Oliveri first got to know the area, as well as the surrounding Brooklyn neighborhoods of Boreum Hill, Brooklyn Heights and Cobble Hill, because of his frequent court appearances in the nearby Brooklyn Supreme and Brooklyn Civil Courts.

Paul F. Oliveri, Esq. is proud to be an attorney representing injury cases in Brooklyn. From the beginning of the firm's establishment, and continuing to the present time, Brooklyn residents retain Oliveri & Schwartz, P.C. to seek full compensation for accidents, personal injury, pain and suffering and wrongful deaths. This large client base has multiplied during the years, with those clients recommending their Brooklyn friends, coworkers, neighbors and relatives. This has resulted in the firm regularly attending court appearances in the Brooklyn courts. Mr. Oliveri's reputation amongst his colleagues, above and beyond Brooklyn Personal Injury Lawyer, has resulted in his lifelong appointment as a Director Emeritus of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association.

Recently, Mr. Oliveri and his wife have discussed the possibility of returning to live in the Downtown Brooklyn area, either imminently or in the future. When he does, the circle will be complete: the Brooklyn Personal Injury Lawyer will both practice and reside in Brooklyn.
